Go RED and host a Hearty Event!
There are endless options to Host a Hearty Event, promote awareness and raise funds to help continue the work of Heart Support Australia. World Heart Day is commemorated each year on 29 September however, you can Host a Hearty Event when it suits you. Funds raised from your event will help to make a difference in the lives of Australians who are suffering from the effects of a heart condition or recovering from a cardiac event.
Here are some ways that you can Host a Hearty Event:
Go RED and hold a morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea at work or school. Encourage your colleagues and friends to wear something red, enjoy and donate.
Create a healthy, hearty menu and hold a BBQ or dinner at home for family and friends. Hold fundraising activities or ask your guests to donate what they would have spent at a restaurant.
You can hold a movie night, trivia night or games night either at home or book a venue. You can even get together online if you choose or hold an online fundraising activity such as an auction.
Engage your local community, create a committee or contact your local council and encourage your town or city to go RED for Heart Support Australia!
Have a better idea?
Create your own Hearty Event that works for you and your supporters! Your combined generosity will help Heart Support Australia to continue providing heartfelt support for cardiac patients, reducing their risk of a secondary cardiac event.
