Get your heart started with excitement on this adventurous, bucket-list challenge in Australia's Red Centre. On this fully supported adventure you will trek the legendary Larapinta Trail, experiencing the ancient landscape of the West MacDonnell Ranges. Each of our trekkers will be raising awareness and funds for Heart Support Australia to continue providing essential peer support, information and encouragement for patients, families and carers affected by heart disease.

Creating your own personal Heart Starter Challenge and raising funds for Heart Support Australia is a fun and big-hearted way to help us continue supporting Australians who are suffering with a cardiac condition or recovering from a heart event. World Heart Day is commemorated each year on 29 September, and you may choose to begin or complete your Heart Starter Challenge on World Heart Day itself or simply choose the best time of the year that suits you.
Creating a Heart Starter Challenge that is more likely to become a habit, can lead to you having a healthy heart and making a difference in your own life, as well as the lives of others.

Set a number of steps, kilometres or laps and walk, cycle or swim your way to achieving your challenge. Aim for that mountain, go for a bushwalk or simply enjoy strolls on the beach. Cycle 100km in a weekend or every weekend and experience your surroundings on two wheels. Swim laps at the pool or if you live by the sea, embark on an ocean swim.
